Life is always busy. There are always places to be and people to see. In a family of four, we each have our own commitments and it takes a BIG calendar and a heap of patience to manage it all.
Big changes are happening around our house. Having enjoyed staying at home since September, I will be returning to work on Monday. Exciting and terrifying times. I honestly can not remember how we made life work when I was commuting everyday.
Secondly, we are prepping to move. Super fantastic and amazing news, since we’ll be walking distance from the girls’ school (that we love), but busy and stressful. We set out on the purge and donate mission last night.
Hats off to my husband who spent almost 12 hours sorting, bagging, boxing, labelling (gotta love a man who labels) and loading boxes and bags of garbage and donations. We helped too, but he really was a driving force.
Changes are scary and exhilarating. The tough part I have found over the last 2 weeks is coming here to blog. Truth be told, if something has to wait during our busier times, it’s my online “life”.
I have been away from writing because at present my family needs me. In the short hours of time that I have typically devoted to writing, I have been running lunches to school because of a hectic morning, attending job interviews, getting paperwork for the new job, squeezing in appointments for the dog and myself, picking up extra shifts at a part time job and just trying to wrap my mind around all that is to come.
The answer is I have been right here, busily juggling all the balls I can to keep the wheels from coming off. I hope to continue to find time to write. I need to find a new schedule. Here’s to spring, new life and change. Gulp, hope I am ready.
